Sienna Tiggy Guillory (born 16 March 1975) is an English actress, and former model. She is known for playing the title role in the TV miniseries, Helen of Troy, her portrayal of Jill Valentine in the science fiction action horror film Resident Evil: Apocalypse, and as elf princess Arya Dröttningu in fantasy-adventure film, Eragon. She resumed her role as Jill Valentine for a cameo appearance in the 2010 action-horror film Resident Evil: Afterlife, and in Resident Evil: Retribution, released on September 14, 2012.

In 2006, Guillory was a lead in the ensemble cast of the fantasy Eragon, the film adaptation of the novel by Christopher Paolini; the role had reunited her with The Time Machine co-star Jeremy Irons. She portrayed Arya Dröttningu, an elf princess. She had not read the novels before filming, but after accepting the role she soon became a fan of Paolini’s work. Although Arya is a key character in the film, Guillory had little screen time and went on to say jokingly:  Eragon was not well received by the critics, but was nominated as Best Fantasy Film at the 2006 Saturn Awards.  The film went on to gross approximately $75 million in the US and $173.9 million elsewhere, totalling $249 million worldwide. Guillory was also invited to reprise her role as Jill Valentine in Resident Evil: Extinction, the sequel to Resident Evil: Apocalypse, but could not accept due to scheduling conflicts with Eragon.

In 2007, she starred in the Spanish production El Corazón de la tierra, or The Heart of the Earth, and later in the year finished filming the horror/thriller Victims and the fantasy novel adaptation Inkheart. In Inkheart, she plays Resa, the wife of Brendan Fraser’s character and the mother of Eliza Bennett’s. Inkheart sees Guillory acting alongside Helen Mirren, a friend of the Guillory family who was a role model when she first had aspirations towards acting.

Guillory will be a lead in the forthcoming television series The Oaks, expected to begin airing in 2008. She joins Bahar Soomekh, Matt Lanter, Romy Rosemont, Jeremy Renner, Michael Rispoli and Shannon Lucio in the series which follows the intertwining stories of three families—a young couple in 1968 that have lost a child, a family of four in 1998, and a pregnant couple in 2008—who are haunted by the same spirit in their house. The television series began filming on 5 November 2007 on location in Pasadena, California. Guillory will play Jessica, the 2008 couple’s neighbour, a woman who has Asperger syndrome who went to school with the husband (and father-to-be) and shares a secret with him.

In May 2010, Shock Till You Drop.com confirmed the return of Jill Valentine in the Resident Evil film franchise’s fourth instalment, Resident Evil: Afterlife, with Guillory reprising the role. On 31 May, Jovovich also confirmed that Guillory will return as Jill. Guillory reappears in the film in a mid-end credit scene. She returns to a starring role in the following film, Resident Evil: Retribution as the main antagonist of the film.

Doane was trained by former professional wrestler Killer Kowalski, and made his wrestling debut at the age of fifteen in 2001. He began working for Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), per WWE request. In May 2003, Doane made his WWE television debut as “Ken Phoenix”. During his time in OVW, he won the Television Championship once. After losing the title, Doane became part of the Spirit Squad faction. The team debuted on Raw in January 2006, and won the World Tag Team Championship three months later. Following the split of the Spirit Squad, Doane was the only member to remain on WWE television. He debuted to a new ring name “Kenny Dykstra”. In June 2007, he was drafted to the SmackDown! brand, but was released from his WWE contract in November 2008. He later began working on the independent circuit, wrestling for promotions including Dragon Gate USA and Evolve. In 2009, Doane began working for Dragon Gate USA under his real name. On December 3, 2009, it was announced that Doane would be joining recently opened promotion Evolve as Kenn Doane. He debuted at the promotions first show on January 16, 2010, in a loss to Jimmy Jacobs. On March 9, 2010, Doane, under his real name, wrestled in a tryout dark match for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, losing to Homicide. On November 1, 2010, Doane announced that he had turned down a chance to wrestle another tryout match for TNA. On November 15, 2011, Doane wrestled a dark match for WWE at the SmackDown tapings in Bridgeport, Connecticut, losing to Justin Gabriel.  In October 2011, Doane took part in the first season tapings of Wrestling Retribution Project (WRP), performing under the ring name “Simply” Stan Shooter.

Brett DiBiase (born March 16, 1988) is an American retired professional wrestler and professional wrestling referee. He is best known for his time in Florida Championship Wrestling, WWE’s developmental territory. He is a former FCW Florida Tag Team Champion with Joe Hennig as The Fortunate Sons.
DiBiase is a third generation professional wrestler. His grandmother Helen Hild and adoptive grandfather “Iron” Mike DiBiase were professional wrestlers, as was his father, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase. Both of DiBiase’s older brothers, Mike and Ted Jr., are also professional wrestlers.

DiBiase made his debut for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)’s developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), in mid-2008.  On August 19, DiBiase defeated Sheamus O’Shaunessy, but was defeated by Stu Sanders the following week. Throughout the end of the year, he continued wrestling in FCW, competing against wrestlers including Gavin Spears, Dolph Ziggler, and Sinn Bowdee.

In early 2009, DiBiase competed sporadically for FCW, although he teamed regularly with fellow multi-generation wrestler, Maverick Darsow, in February.  He also competed in both tag team and singles matches, and defeated Byron Saxton in late March.  DiBiase made his FCW television debut on the May 17, 2009 episode, defeating Dylan Klein.  A few weeks later, DiBiase competed in a battle royal to become the number one contender for the FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship, but was eliminated.  On the June 7 episode of FCW, DiBiase lost to Klein, starting a scripted rivalry between the two. They competed against each other on numerous occasions throughout June, July and August.

At WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view in August 2009, DiBiase made an appearance as a planted fan in the audience, interfering in the WWE Championship match between Randy Orton and John Cena. The following night, on August 24, DiBiase made his debut on Raw, appearing in backstage segments with The Legacy faction consisting of Orton, Cody Rhodes and his older brother Ted.
After his appearance on Raw, he returned to FCW, where he formed a tag team with Joe Hennig known as The Fortunate Sons. On January 14, 2010 at an FCW television taping, The Fortunate Sons won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championship by defeating The Dudebusters (Caylen Croft, Trent Barreta and Curt Hawkins). nOn March 13, The Fortunate Sons lost the titles to The Uso Brothers (Jimmy and Jules). At the April 8 FCW television tapings, Hennig blamed DiBiase for the loss, and in a match the two fought to a double disqualification.  At an FCW event on April 29, DiBiase faced Hennig again, but suffered a knee injury during the match. He underwent surgery for a torn anterior cruciate ligament on May 18.  During his rehabilitation time, DiBiase joined the commentary team for FCW’s television program.
In May 2011 it was reported that DiBiase had begun to train as a referee due to on-going problems with his knee. On August 22, DiBiase’s father revealed that due to continuing knee problems after four surgeries, DiBiase had decided not to continue a career in professional wrestling. According to his father, DiBiase would be released from his contract at the end of the month.

David Krumholtz (born May 15, 1978) is an American actor best known for playing Professor Charlie Eppes in the television series Numb3rs. He appeared as Seth Goldstein in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and its two sequels, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay and A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas. He is also known for his role as Bernard the Arch-Elf in The Santa Clause and its sequel, The Santa Clause 2. Additionally, he is known for his role as “Mr. Universe” in the 2005 film Serenity. He also played Michael, the AV geek, in 10 Things I Hate About You, starring Heath Ledger.

Big Shot was a true story based on the Arizona State University basketball fixing scandal of the early 1990s. Krumholtz played Benny Silman, a college student and campus bookmaker who was jailed for his part in shaving points off key Arizona State basketball games. Benny was unlike any character Krumholtz had played before, and he garnered critical praise for his performance, proving that he was not just a sidekick.

In 2004 Krumholtz reunited with Edward Burns for the independent film The Last Hold-Outs. The following year he played Max in My Suicidal Sweetheart (formerly Max and Grace), once again starring opposite actress Natasha Lyonne. Krumholtz also returned to smaller key roles in the successful films Ray and Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle – two very different movies released in 2004. In September 2005, he was seen in Joss Whedon’s science fiction film Serenity as “Mr. Universe”, a hacker and information broker. Most recently, in early 2006, Krumholtz’s 2003 film Kill the Poor screened in New York City at IFC Center and across the country on Comcast’s On Demand cable service.

From 2005, he portrayed Charlie Eppes, a mathematical genius who helped his brother Don (Rob Morrow), an FBI agent, solve crimes using mathematics, on CBS’ show Numb3rs. The cast of Numb3rs also included Judd Hirsch and Peter MacNicol, who appeared with him in Addams Family Values as a camp counselor. Television critic Matt Roush (TV Guide) called Krumholtz’s work on Numb3rs “probably his best TV work to date”.[citation needed] Numb3rs was officially cancelled by CBS on May 18, 2010.
In 2012, Krumholtz was cast opposite Michael Urie in CBS’ comedy tv series Partners[8] but the show was cancelled after six episodes.

Assala Mostafa Hatem Nasri (Arabic: أصالة مصطفى حاتم نصري‎ aka Asala, Asalah and Assalah; born 15 May 1969) is a Syrian musical artist.

Assala was born in Damascus, Syria to a middle class couple. Mostafa Nasri, Assala’s father, was a revered Syrian composer and singer. Assala began her musical career by performing patriotic, religious, and children’s songs when she was four years old.

She sang the theme song “Qessas Al Sho’oub” (Arabic: قصص الشعوب), of the cartoon show, Hekayat Alamiyah (Arabic: حكايات عالمية). In 1986, Mostafa Nasri died after suffering from internal bleeding caused by a car accident. Aged 17 she helped care for her siblings, Reem, Amani, Ayman and Ayham with her mother.

Assala’s commercial musical career debuted in 1991 with Law Ta’rafou (Arabic: لو تعرفو). The album had 4 songs in the oriental operatic tarab style. The album was an instant hit with heartbreaking songs like Ya Sabra Yana and Samehtak Ketir.

She quickly cemented her presence in a growing industry brimming with new, young talent like Najwa Karam, Saber Rebai, Angham, and Abdelmajeed Abdullah.

Jennylyn Vergara Mercado (born May 15, 1987) is a Filipino actress, singer and songwriter. She gained fame as the winner of the first season of the Philippine TV series StarStruck, a reality search show on GMA Network. She has released three albums from GMA Records and Viva Records which have several popular singles such as “Sa Aking Panaginip,” “Moments Of Love” collaboration with Janno Gibbs, “Maybe This Time” and Kahit Sandali.”

In 2003, Mercado joined the reality show StarStruck> She and Mark Herras won, receiving 1,000,000 pesos plus exclusive contracts from GMA Network. After winning StarStruck, she starred in the Encantadia, I Luv NY, Now and Forever titled Dangal, Super Twins, Sine Novela: Paano Ba Ang Mangarap?, SRO Cinemaserye: Suspetsa, Ikaw Sana and Sine Novela: Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak.

She released her first album, Living the Dream, containing original compositions of composer Vehnee Saturno, and a carrier single titled “Kahit Sandali”. In May 2006, Mercado released her second album Letting Go which included the single “Sa Aking Panaginip” by Vehnee Saturno. Her first major concert was held on May 15, 2006 at the Music Museum in Greenhills. In January 2010, under VIVA Records, she released her third album, Love Is… Jennylyn Mercado. Due to her popularity, she held a birthday concert at the Music Museum, titled I Am Woman in May 2009. The concert was sold-out.

Her first films included So Happy Together and the teen-flick Let the Love Begin but her most acclaimed film performance was a Filipino period piece, Rosario. Jennylyn’s acting career is handled by Becky Aguila and VIVA Entertainment, Inc. Her singing career is managed by VIVA Records. Her contract with VIVA ended in 2011. Jennylyn signed back with Regal Entertainment.
Mercado recently branched out into television hosting, hosting the Philippine reality series Protégé: The Battle For The Big Break with co-hosts Ogie Alcasid and Dingdong Dantes. She is also in the GMA-7 Sunday talk show, Showbiz Central.

Madhuri Dixit (born 15 May 1967) is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi films. Often cited as one of the best actresses in Bollywood, Dixit made her film debut in Abodh (1984) and received wider public recognition with Tezaab (1988). She went on to establish herself as one of Hindi cinema’s leading actresses, acknowledged for several of her performances, her beauty, and her accomplished dancing.

Caroline Dhavernas (born May 15, 1978) is a Canadian actress. Dhavernas is best known in the United States as Jaye from the short-lived television series Wonderfalls on Fox. She starred as Dr. Lily Brenner in the ABC medical drama Off the Map.

Dhavernas portrayed swimmer Marilyn Bell in the made-for-television movie Heart: The Marilyn Bell Story (1999). She trained for 2 months with the Pointe-Claire Swim Club to convincingly portray Marilyn Bell who was the first to cross 32-mile Lake Ontario in 1954. Other notable films have included a leading role in Edge of Madness (2002), and supporting roles in Out Cold (2001) and Lost and Delirious (2001). She also had a notable role on Law & Order as a closeted, gay teenager who killed her girlfriend in the episode “Girl Most Likely” (12×17).

Her most high-profile work to date is as the central character in Wonderfalls. Dhavernas plays Jaye, an underachiever university graduate from a wealthy family, who lives in a trailer and works at the Wonderfalls Gift Emporium, a Niagara Falls gift shop. One of the quirks of the show is Jaye’s ability to hear inanimate objects speaking to her, and encouraging her to help other people. Dhavernas has described the show as being like “Touched by an Angel on acid”. The show received widespread critical praise, but Fox canceled the show after four airings. Millions of fans signed a petition to try to get the show to stay but only partly succeeded with 20th Century Fox only releasing the DVD with the 13 completed episodes. She did her own voice-overs for the French translation of Wonderfalls.

Recent projects include The Cry of the Owl, a movie adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s novel of the same name, and the popular Quebec comedy De père en flic. She also appeared in the first and last episodes of HBO’s miniseries The Pacific, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, and she guest starred on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, playing Maya in the episode “Love Sick” in May 2010.
In 2012, audiences have seen her in Martin Villeneuve’s Mars et Avril, a science fiction film based on the graphic novels of the same name.
She has been cast as the female lead, Dr. Alana Bloom in Hannibal, reuniting her with Wonderfalls creator Bryan Fuller.

Jasmine van den Bogaerde (born 15 May 1996 in Lymington), also known by her stage name Birdy, is an English-Dutch musician. She won the music competition Open Mic UK in 2008, at the age of 12. Her debut single, a version of Bon Iver’s “Skinny Love”, was her breakthrough, charting all across Europe and being certified six times platinum in Australia. Her self-titled debut album Birdy was released on 7 November 2011 to similar success, peaking at number 1 in Australia, Belgium and The Netherlands .

In 2009, Birdy performed live on piano for BBC Radio 3′s Pianothon in London.
In January 2011, at the age of 14, Birdy released a cover version of Bon Iver’s song “Skinny Love.” The song became her first hit on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at 17. The single was chosen as “Record of The Week” by UK radio DJ Fearne Cotton, resulting in it being added to BBC Radio 1′s B‑list playlist as soon as it was released in March 2011.

The official music video for the song was directed by Sophie Muller. The song was also featured on The Vampire Diaries episode “The Sun Also Rises”, which aired on 5 May 2011. “Skinny Love” peaked at number 1 in the Netherlands. This song was sung by Birdy at the Ellen DeGeneres Show that was aired last 20 March 2012.
Since then, Birdy has covered a number of songs, including “The A Team” by Ed Sheeran and The xx’s “Shelter”. On 19 July 2011, Birdy performed in BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge. In the session, she performed both “Shelter” and “The A Team”. Her cover of “Shelter” was also featured on The Vampire Diaries episode “The End of the Affair”, which aired on 29 September 2011.

In March 2012, Birdy was one of the artists who contributed to The Hunger Games film soundtrack with her single “Just a Game”.

In June 2012, Birdy contributed the song “Learn Me Right” with Mumford & Sons to the Pixar film Brave for which she received her first Grammy Award nomination.

7 August 2012, Birdy released her “Live in London” EP, which contains 8 songs. This includes her cover of Ed Sheeran’s “The A Team” and her song from The Hunger Games soundtrack, “Just a Game”.

On 29 August 2012 Birdy performed the song “Bird Gerhl” by Antony and the Johnsons in the Opening Ceremony of the London Paralympic Games.

On 16 February 2013 Birdy sang at Sanremo Music Festival 2013, the most popular Italian music festival broadcasted by RAI.

Eric Robert Lewis (born May 13, 1973), better known by his stage name ELEW, is an American jazz pianist who has found crossover success playing rock and pop music. He is known for his unconventional and physical playing style, which eschews a piano bench and includes reaching inside the piano lid to pull at the strings directly, as well as the creation that he calls Rockjazz, a genre that “takes the improvisational aspect of jazz and ‘threads it through the eye of the needle of rock.’”

Lewis began his career as a jazz purist, playing as a sideman for jazz luminaries like Wynton Marsalis, Cassandra Wilson, Elvin Jones, Jon Hendricks, and Roy Hargrove as well as performing as a member of the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra. However, he eventually became interested in rock music and embarked on a solo career as a crossover musician, quickly gaining recognition for his instrumental “Rockjazz” piano covers of mainstream rock hits like The Rolling Stones’ “Paint It, Black” and The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside”. He released his first album of instrumental covers, entitled ELEW Rockjazz Vol. 1, on his own label, Ninjazz Entertainment, in March 2010.

His distinctive style has helped him to amass a large following of celebrity fans, including Barack and Michelle Obama (for whom he has played at the White House), Leonardo DiCaprio, Donna Karan, Téa Leoni, David Duchovny, Hugh Jackman, Forest Whitaker, and Gerard Butler.

Throughout his career, he has performed with musicians such as Sting, The Roots, Natalie Cole, and Esperanza Spalding. In the spring of 2011, he joined singer-songwriter Josh Groban as the opening act on the American leg of the singer’s Straight to You Tour. Around the same time, he appeared as a contestant in an audition on the NBC reality series America’s Got Talent, where he received a standing ovation from the crowd and positive scores from all three judges. Despite his positive reception, he ultimately dropped out of the competition in order to tour with Groban.

In August 2012, he was featured on a Mike Stud remix of the Maroon 5 song, One More Night.

Mary Cynthia Walsh, CM (born May 13, 1952) is a Canadian actress and comedian and social activist. A sufferer of macular degeneration, she has served from time to time as a spokesperson for the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB). Walsh’s son Jesse was born in 1989. She has been married to Memorial University of Newfoundland English professor Don Nichol since 2002.

She also appeared in the short-run sitcoms Dooley Gardens in 1999 and Hatching, Matching and Dispatching in 2006.
She went on to pursue movie roles and to create the CBC program Mary Walsh: Open Book, a talk show about books and literature, in 2003. In 2004, Walsh hosted a segment on the CBC documentary series The Greatest Canadian, in which she championed the case for Sir Frederick Banting (the Nobel prize-winning discoverer of insulin) as the greatest Canadian who ever lived.

Besides TV acting, she has worked on movies such as Mambo Italiano, Geraldine’s Fortune, Rain, Drizzle and Fog, Buried on Sunday, The Divine Ryans, Young Triffie and Violet.
In 2007, Walsh made her feature directorial debut with the 2007 movie Young Triffie. She is the first Newfoundlander in six years to have a film in general release across Canada. She also revived Marg Delahunty for the Royal Canadian Air Farce’s 300th episode, filmed in Toronto in March. In June, she hosted the Pride Toronto Gala & Awards ceremony.

On December 15, 2007, Walsh made national news with a story about her upcoming special, Nudity, Sexuality, Violence and Coarse Language, in which a large group of people who went and stripped naked standing next to St. John’s Harbour in -11° Celsius (12.2° Fahrenheit) temperature to be filmed as a part of the show’s closing. Walsh herself did not go nude.
Walsh had a guest starring role as Miranda Cahill on the January 20, 2010 episode, “Duchess of George”, of the CBC television series, Republic of Doyle.

On October 24, 2011, Walsh was once again in the spotlight as she reprised the role of Marg Delahunty conducting an ambush interview of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford at his home. Ford’s reaction and alleged verbal abuse directed at 911 operator made national headlines

Ronnie Dean Coleman (born May 13, 1964) is an American professional bodybuilder who holds the record of eight straight wins as Mr. Olympia, a record career total that he shares with Lee Haney. Alongside his eight Mr. Olympia wins as a professional bodybuilder, Coleman holds the record for most wins as an IFBB professional with 26. He broke the previous record (held by Vince Taylor at 22 wins) in Moscow on November 5, 2004.

Coleman’s success as a professional bodybuilder has led to many product endorsements and other opportunities in his career. Due to his bodybuilding profession Coleman undergoes a lot of travel to places such as Brazil, China, and Australia. Coleman also makes many guest appearances at gym openings all around the United States. Coleman has also made some training videos. His first training video, The Unbelievable, The Cost of Redemption, and On the Road. In these videos, Coleman gives tips for more experienced weightlifters, while warning against over exertion and improper form.

When working out, Coleman prefers to use free weights rather than machines in order to maximize his flexibility and range of motion. He lifts weights four days per week, having cut down due to touring the world and cutting down on competitive events. Coleman supports the Inner City Games, an organization that Arnold Schwarzenegger co-founded in 1991. He was the recipient of the 2001 Admiral in the Texas Navy Certificate Award from Texas Governor Rick Perry for outstanding achievements in bodybuilding and for the promotion of physical fitness.

On June 30, 2009, on MuscleSport Radio, Coleman stated that he would compete in the 2010 Mr. Olympia competition.[citation needed] Coleman also indicated that he would not participate in the 2009 Mr. Olympia competition for lack of preparation time. On October 10, 2009 at the Northern Territory Fitness & Bodybuilding Titles in Darwin, Australia, Coleman confirmed that he would compete in the 2010 Mr. Olympia competition, but he did not appear at the competition.

Eduardo Estrada Palomo (May 13, 1962, Mexico City – November 6, 2003, Los Angeles, California) was a Mexican actor. Palomo became famous across Mexico and Latin America after his 1993 characterization of Juan del Diablo in Corazón salvaje.

Palomo who started acting in the theatre at the age of 12, found fame with the success of Corazon Salvaje. He went on to make several other successful Soap Operas and films in Mexico.

He also recorded a CD “Mover El Tiempo” in 1993. He was determined not to play in any other telenovelas after Ramona (co-starring Kate Del Castillo), but the sequel to Corazon Salvaje was something he could not refuse. He was working on an L.A. production of the play Una Pareja Con Angel (written by Eduardo and successfully produced in Mexico) when he died.

Palomo was in the process of crossing-over to United States television audiences where he guest starred on shows such as “Arrested Development” and “Kingpin” and was to star in a CBS series. His last movie was A Day Without a Mexican.

Magdalena Walach (born 13 May 1976) is a Polish film and theater actress. In 1999 she completed studies at the Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts in Kraków.

She is a member of the Bagatela Theatre acting company. Walach is married to actor Paweł Okraska, with whom she had their son Piotr (2006).

Magdalena Walach is a graduate of Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts (1999). A role in a musical adaptation of The Secret Garden, directed by Janusz Szydłowski, was the start of her involvement in the Bagatela Theatre. Since that premiere, she has played roles in performances of “Balladyny”, “Kosmosu”, “Stosunków na szczycie”, “Trzech sióstr” and “Rewizora”.

She has also appeared on the stages of other Kraków and Warsaw theaters, and also performed in several Television Theatre stagings. Walach competed in the sixth edition of Taniec z gwiazdami (Dancing with the Stars), winning first place with dancer Cezary Olszewski. She received a perfect score from judges on 8 occasions.

Candice Renee Accola (born May 13, 1987) is an American actress, singer and songwriter, best known for her starring role as Caroline Forbes on The CW series, The Vampire Diaries.

In December 2006 Accola released her debut album, It’s Always the Innocent Ones, independently in the United States. Accola co-wrote thirteen of the fourteen tracks on the record. The album failed to make an impact.

In 2008 the album was re-released in Japan and achieved greater success. Accola toured as a backing singer for Miley Cyrus’s Best of Both Worlds Tour. Accola appeared as herself in the 2008 3D concert film Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert. In February 2011, Accola performed a cover of The Bangles’ “Eternal Flame”, on The Vampire Diaries. Accola has yet to announce plans for a sophomore album.

In July 2009 Accola starred in the Independent Horror film Deadgirl which centers on two high school boys who discover an immortal woman in an abandoned asylum. That same year again Accola had a bit-role in The Hannah Montana Movie. In 2009 Accola was cast in The CW television series The Vampire Diaries as Caroline Forbes a teenage vampire. The series was an immediate success with the series premiere reaching over 3.6 million viewers.

Critical reception was positive. In June 2012 Accola joined the Dramedy YouTube series Dating Rules From My Future Self as Chloe Cunningham a 26-year old girl who believes love does not exist. The series centers on a girl receiving romance advice from herself ten years in the future via text message. The first season of the series went on to receive over 14 million views.

Laura Elizabeth Arabosa Izibor (born 13 May 1987) is an Irish recording artist, musician and producer. She won the RTÉ 2fm song contest while still in secondary school. She went on to win an award at the 2006 Meteor Music Awards. She also performed at that year’s Electric Picnic music festival and Music Ireland 2007. Izibor has opened for Aretha Franklin, India.Arie, Estelle, Maxwell and John Legend on tour.

Her debut album, Let the Truth Be Told, was released in Ireland on 8 May 2009. Izibor has appeared in The CW television show, One Tree Hill, where she plays Erin Macree.

She was nominated for ‘Best U.K Newcomer’at the MOBO Awards 2009 and ‘Best Female Act’ at the 2010 Meteor Awards, as well as ‘Best Irish Pop Act’. She performed at Bestival 2009 on 11 September 2009 and at the Electric Picnic 2009 on 4 September 2009.

She performed a new single ‘Gracefully’ at the Jazz Cafe in London, on September 12. A little over a year later, on 19 October 2010, Izibor debuted her new single “Can’t Be Loved” in the sixth episode of One Tree Hill’s eighth season. The track was rumored to be the lead single on Izibor’s new album but she neither confirmed nor denied this.

In an interview with music website Metromix, on 29 July 2011, Izibor revealed that the name of her second album would be Love, Learn, Live and would hopefully be released soon. However, by summer 2012, now album had been released. However, Izibor did release an EP on 7 August 2012, called The Brooklyn Sessions Vol. 1, which continued three songs: “Gracefully”, “He’ll Never Know” and “Ring”.

The Lemuralia or Lemuria was a feast in the religion of ancient Rome during which the Romans performed rites to exorcise the malevolent and fearful ghosts of the dead from their homes. The unwholesome spectres of the restless dead, the lemures or larvae were propitiated with offerings of beans. On those days, the Vestals would prepare sacred mola salsa, a salted flour cake, from the first ears of wheat of the season.

In the Julian calendar the three days of the feast were 9, 11, and 13 May. The myth of origin of this ancient festival, according to Ovid, who derives Lemuria from a supposed Remuria was that it had been instituted by Romulus to appease the spirit of Remus (Ovid, Fasti, V.421ff; Porphyrius ). Ovid notes that at this festival it was the custom to appease or expel the evil spirits by walking barefoot and throwing black beans over the shoulder at night. It was the head of the household who was responsible for getting up at midnight and walking around the house with bare feet throwing out black beans and repeating the incantation, “I send these; with these beans I redeem me and mine (haec ego mitto; his redimo meque meosque fabis.).” nine times. The household would then clash bronze pots while repeating, “Ghosts of my fathers and ancestors, be gone!” nine times.

Because of this annual exorcism of the noxious spirits of the dead, the whole month of May was rendered unlucky for marriages, whence the proverb Mense Maio malae nubent (“They wed ill who wed in May”).

On what had been the culminating day of the Lemuralia, May 13 in 609 or 610— the day being recorded as more significant than the year—, Pope Boniface IV consecrated the Pantheon at Rome to the Blessed Virgin and all the martyrs, and the feast of that dedicatio Sanctae Mariae ad Martyres has been celebrated at Rome ever since. According to cultural historians, this ancient custom was Christianized in the feast of All Saints’ Day, established in Rome first on May 13, in order to de-paganize the Roman Lemuria, while others see a link to the May 13 date in Saint Ephrem’s celebration of All Saints on that day in the 4th century.

Kim Victoria Fields (born May 12, 1969) is an American actress, singer and television director. She is known for her roles as Tootie Ramsey on the NBC sitcom The Facts of Life, and as Regine Hunter on the Fox sitcom Living Single. She is the daughter of actress/director Chip Fields and the older sister of actress Alexis Fields.

Fields played the role of Tootie on the sitcom The Facts of Life from 1979 to 1988. Even decades later, many still recognize her catchphrase, “We’re in troouu-ble!” When the show began production, Fields was so short that the producers put her on roller skates during the first season so that they could avoid difficult camera angles. Ironically, she later lost a role as Arnold Jackson’s girlfriend on The Facts of Life’s parent show Diff’rent Strokes because she was taller than Gary Coleman, who played Arnold.

With degree in hand from Pepperdine University, she began directing. Fields directed a number of episodes of the All That! spinoff Kenan & Kel, in which she also appeared in two episodes. She is currently working as a director on the sitcoms Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne and BET’s Let’s Stay Together.

In 1984, during the run of Facts of Life, Fields released two singles on the Critique Records label: the disco/Hi-NRG “He Loves Me He Loves Me Not” (which became a minor club hit), and “Dear Michael” (which became a minor R&B hit, reaching #50).
After the cancellation of Living Single, Fields began performing rap music and R&B with a group called Impromp2.

As of 2000, she changed her look and style considerably, sporting either a large blonde afro or platinum blonde braids or dreadlocks. She performs under the stage name of “Blondielocks” and in 2003, she released a spoken word CD of poetry (that was available online only) called Smooth is Spoken Here.
